Leroy's family was bred for generations as a show-lion, which is why Leroy has no mouth (so the breeders wouldn't get eaten). Leroy was liberated from his existence on the stage by a group of animal activists, and now lives to help others. He even has his own little Leroy Jnr, and takes great joy in sharing freedom with him. Although mouth-less, you can tell Leroy is smiling by the shape of his eyes.
